Installation
Our central vacuum unit can be placed in your utility room, garage or any out of the way location that you may choose.
1st fix of the Central Vacuum System will depend on the particular method construction of the dwelling. For instance in a timber frame construction we can wait until frame-work is in place and install our vacuum pipe header within the timber frame construction before the slabbing of walls.
Alternatively in a block / concrete dwelling it is installed just before the pouring of the concrete screed. Vacuum pipes are laid in screed and will protrude through the concrete floor at the desired location.
2nd fix of the central vacuum system entails the fitting of the actual unit and the final connections to same. It also entails the installation of the wall outlets , usually mounted at the same height as the electrical receptacle.
A low voltage cable is installed along the vacuum pipe and is terminated at the unit . When the vacuum hose is plugged into the outlet the unit switches on automatically and the waste / dirt is transferred through the piping system back to the unit.
CENTRAL VACUUM CLEANING
Conventional vacuuming absorbs dirt, however, a considerable part of dirt is expelled as dust in your home. With a central vacuum this does not happen since the dirt and the dust are taken along the piping to the central vacuum unit installed in an out-of-way location. This means less dust after vacuuming and cleaner air for breathing (thus contributing to the elimination of respiratory illnesses, asthma, allergies, etc.)

Depending on selection of central vacuum unit , they can invariably be 3 - 5 times more powerful than a standard vacuum cleaner.
